Automatic Dry Chemical Powder Fire Extinguisher (Matic)

Nile Shield provides the Automatic Dry Chemical Powder Fire Extinguisher (Matic), designed to activate automatically when the temperature reaches 68°C. The unit discharges ABC-E dry chemical powder to help rapidly control the fire without requiring manual intervention. Available in 6 kg and 12 kg capacities, it provides a practical solution for automatic fire protection in areas exposed to potential fire hazards.

Automatic Dry Chemical Powder Fire Extinguisher (Matic)

The Automatic Dry Chemical Powder Fire Extinguisher (Matic) is a fire protection solution designed to provide fast and automatic fire suppression without requiring direct manual intervention. The unit is equipped with a heat-sensitive head that automatically activates the extinguishing process when the temperature reaches 68°C, helping provide an early response to fire.

Nile Shield provides the Matic unit as a suitable solution for locations requiring continuous automatic fire protection. The extinguisher is installed within the area to be protected, and once the temperature reaches the specified activation level, the heat-sensitive head automatically operates and initiates the discharge of the extinguishing agent to help control the fire and limit its spread.

The unit uses ABC-E Dry Chemical Powder as the extinguishing agent and Nitrogen (N₂) as the propellant. This configuration enables the automatic discharge of the extinguishing agent when the unit is activated.

The extinguisher is available in 6 kg and 12 kg capacities, allowing the appropriate capacity to be selected according to the protection requirements of the location. It is designed to operate within a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C, according to the technical specifications provided for the product.

The unit has a working pressure of 17.5 bar, a test pressure of 35 bar, and a burst pressure of 70 bar or higher. Its components are designed according to the operating and pressure requirements specified in the product documentation.

The extinguisher body is manufactured from steel according to ES 1110. Its surface is treated and externally finished with red electrostatically coated polyester, providing the protective finish specified for the product.

The valve assembly is manufactured from brass plated with nickel chrome. The unit is also equipped with a pressure gauge for instant internal pressure indication, along with a safety valve for releasing excess pressure and a pressure check valve.

One of the key advantages of the Matic extinguisher is its automatic activation mechanism. The heat-sensitive head allows the unit to activate when the temperature reaches 68°C, without requiring a person to manually operate it, providing automatic protection within the area where the extinguisher is installed.

The product documentation also states that each unit carries the manufacturer’s information, address, and operating instructions and is packed in a strong carton. The unit comes with a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

By combining automatic activation at 68°C, ABC-E dry chemical powder, nitrogen propellant, and multiple capacity options, the Nile Shield Automatic Dry Chemical Powder Fire Extinguisher (Matic) provides a practical solution for enhancing fire protection and delivering an automatic response when the temperature rises within the protected area.
