The TAURUS range has been developed to meet the fire protection requirements of various facilities, offering multiple configurations that differ in materials, installation methods, and internal equipment to suit different site conditions and operational requirements.

The TAURUS Fire Cabinets are suitable for a wide range of applications, including administrative buildings, offices, hotels, tourist resorts, commercial and industrial facilities, government buildings, schools, universities, hospitals, laboratories, and clubs, as well as other locations requiring firefighting equipment to be stored in clearly identified, organized, and easily accessible positions. The range also includes free-standing configurations suitable for outdoor, industrial, and commercial applications.

The range offers various installation methods and cabinet configurations. Models are available for direct wall mounting, as well as recessed or in-wall installation. Selected models can also be manufactured with an external flange to facilitate recessed installation, providing greater flexibility when selecting the most appropriate cabinet configuration for a specific project.

The range also includes Platinum models designed for recessed installation and equipped with a stainless-steel door. The standard dimensions specified for this model are 80 × 80 × 30 cm, with special dimensions available for consideration according to customer requirements. The cabinet body is manufactured from steel sheets, while the door is made from stainless steel. Both the cabinet body and door have a specified thickness of 1.5 mm.

The Platinum cabinet door is mounted using an axial hinge that allows it to open up to 180 degrees. It is also equipped with a full-length handle for convenient gripping and opening. The cabinet incorporates two water-supply openings, allowing connection from either the top or bottom of the cabinet, depending on installation requirements and customer preference.

The wall-mounted TAURUS Standard models are manufactured from steel sheets and have standard dimensions of 80 × 80 × 30 cm, with special sizes available for consideration. The steel sheet thickness is 1.5 mm, and the cabinet is chemically treated and electrostatically coated with 100% pure red polyester. The cabinet door is configured to open to the right as standard, with left-hand opening available as an option.

The TAURUS Standard cabinet is equipped with a hose reel carrying a flexible rubber hose designed to withstand high pressures. One of the practical advantages of the system is that the hose can be operated at any required length without having to be completely unwound, supporting faster deployment during emergency situations.

According to the technical specifications, the system uses an SHR-¾ hose reel with a rotation range of up to 180 degrees. The hose has a diameter of ¾ inch (19 mm) and a length of 30 meters. It is manufactured from flexible rubber reinforced with synthetic fibers and is designed for high-pressure operation. The optimum working pressure exceeds 12 bar, while the hose burst pressure exceeds 42 bar.

The system is also equipped with a multipurpose brass water nozzle, together with a 25 mm (1-inch) ball valve and a flexible connection for installation on the water supply line. These components are integrated into the cabinet to provide an organized and ready-to-use firefighting point whenever required.

The TAURUS Fire Cabinets family also includes larger configurations for facilities requiring storage and installation of multiple firefighting components. These include Double Act vertical double cabinets, as well as Double Act/G models featuring glass openings for easy identification of the cabinet contents. Twin configurations are also available, providing separate compartments for different firefighting equipment such as hose reels and fire extinguishers.

Another important configuration is the TAURUS Stand Alone / Ground Fire Cabinet, designed particularly for outdoor applications. The product documentation shows the cabinet mounted on two steel supporting posts, allowing it to be securely installed on the ground without requiring structural support from a building wall. Its free-standing design also enables direct connection to the underground water network, making it suitable for open areas and locations requiring an independent firefighting point.

The TAURUS range also provides stainless-steel solutions alongside coated-steel models. This variety allows the appropriate material and configuration to be selected according to project requirements, installation method, and whether the cabinet will be used in indoor or outdoor environments.

From an operational perspective, the range focuses on rapid access to firefighting equipment and convenient operation. Cabinet doors are designed for easy opening, with selected models allowing opening angles of up to 180 degrees. Top and bottom water-supply openings provide additional installation flexibility, while the different internal configurations allow hose reels, extinguishers, and other firefighting components to be accommodated according to the selected model.
