BAVARIA JUMBO MF-200 Mobile Foam Generating Unit

Nile Shield provides the BAVARIA JUMBO MF-200 Mobile Foam Generating Unit, a wheeled mobile unit designed to generate and mix firefighting foam for use in high-risk locations, particularly areas involving flammable liquids. It is suitable for applications such as fuel stations, grain and paint storage facilities, boiler and engine rooms, and industrial processes where flammable liquids are present.

The unit features a tank containing 200 liters of 3% Fluoroprotein foam concentrate, along with a dedicated foam proportioning unit that allows the mixing ratio to be adjusted from 1% to 6%, with a maximum discharge rate of up to 400 liters per minute. It is also equipped with two 30-meter hoses: one for connection to an external water supply and the other for discharging the foam mixture.

The JUMBO MF-200 is equipped with two different foam nozzles: one designed to produce low-expansion dense foam and another for medium-expansion foam. The entire unit is mounted on a steel chassis with two rear wheels and a front support wheel for easy movement and maneuverability, making it a practical and efficient high-performance mobile foam firefighting solution for industrial facilities and high-risk fire environments.

BAVARIA JUMBO MF-200 Mobile Foam Generating Unit

Nile Shield provides the BAVARIA JUMBO MF-200 Mobile Foam Generating Unit, a wheeled mobile system specialized in generating and mixing firefighting foam. It is designed for use in high-risk locations, particularly areas where flammable liquids are involved in operations or stored materials. According to the product documentation, its applications include fuel stations, grain and paint storage facilities, boiler and engine rooms, and industrial processes involving flammable liquids.

The JUMBO MF-200 features a cylindrical foam tank containing 3% Fluoroprotein foam concentrate. The tank is manufactured from steel and has a capacity of approximately 230 kg, equivalent to 200 liters of foam, providing a substantial quantity of extinguishing agent for use in industrial and high-risk environments.

The system incorporates a dedicated foam proportioning unit designed to draw the concentrated foam and mix it with water at the required ratio. The foam proportioner allows the mixing ratio to be adjusted from 1% to 6%, with a maximum discharge rate of up to 400 liters per minute. According to the technical specifications, the foam proportioner is manufactured by AWG – Germany.

The unit operates using an external water supply. One hose is connected to the external water source, while the second hose is used to discharge the resulting foam mixture. Through this configuration, the unit mixes water with the foam concentrate at the required proportion and then directs the resulting mixture toward the fire through the discharge system and dedicated foam nozzles.

The JUMBO MF-200 is equipped with two hoses, each with a diameter of 2½ inches (63 mm) and a length of 30 meters. The hoses are manufactured from nylon and internally lined with a rubber layer, while their burst pressure exceeds 48 bar. Each hose is also equipped with dedicated couplings to facilitate connection and operation.

One of the key features of the unit is the inclusion of two different foam nozzles, allowing the appropriate type of foam to be used according to the firefighting requirements. The first nozzle is designed to produce Low Expansion Foam (dense foam), while the second produces Medium Expansion Foam. Both nozzles are stored in dedicated positions on the sides of the tank for convenient access during operation.

The Low Expansion Foam nozzle provides a discharge rate of 200 liters per minute at 5 bar, with an expansion ratio of 1:15. The Medium Expansion Foam nozzle also provides a discharge rate of 200 liters per minute at 5 bar, but with an expansion ratio of 1:50. According to the product specifications, both foam nozzles are manufactured by AWG – Germany.

The system also includes a dedicated foam suction hose, manufactured by AWG, measuring 1.5 meters in length and 19 mm in diameter. It is fitted with a Storz Coupling at one end for connection to the foam proportioning unit.

In terms of construction and mobility, all components are mounted on a steel chassis equipped with a tubular steel handle that allows the unit to be moved and handled by a single operator. The chassis features two rear wheels and a front support wheel, providing convenient mobility and maneuverability when positioning the unit within the protected facility.

The chassis is also designed to provide organized storage for the system components. It includes dedicated space for storing the two hoses, as well as side-mounted storage positions for the foam nozzles. This arrangement keeps the essential firefighting components together in one mobile unit, ready for deployment when required.

The foam tank incorporates two securely sealed upper openings. The first is used to draw the foam liquid from the tank during operation through the suction hose, while the second is used for ventilation. This configuration forms part of the foam tank and operating system described in the technical specifications.

The BAVARIA JUMBO MF-200 combines a 200-liter foam tank, an adjustable 1%–6% foam proportioning system, two 30-meter hoses, Low and Medium Expansion Foam nozzles, and a maneuverable wheeled steel chassis. Together, these components form an integrated foam-generating and discharge system designed for locations requiring specialized firefighting equipment to address flammable-liquid fire hazards.

With its mobile design and integrated firefighting equipment, the BAVARIA JUMBO MF-200 Mobile Foam Generating Unit provides a practical solution for fuel stations, industrial facilities, paint and grain storage areas, boiler rooms, engine rooms, and other high-risk applications specified in the product documentation. Its configuration provides an extended operating reach and enables different foam expansion types to be used according to the requirements of the firefighting operation.
