IDP-ISO Line Isolator Module

The Honeywell Farenhyt IDP-ISO Line Isolator Module is designed to enhance the reliability and operational continuity of intelligent fire alarm systems by protecting the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC) against short-circuit conditions. It helps prevent a wiring fault in one section of the SLC from disrupting communication and operation across the entire signaling circuit, making it an important component in addressable fire alarm installations.

When a short circuit occurs on the SLC, the IDP-ISO automatically isolates the affected section of the circuit. This allows devices located on the unaffected portions of the SLC to remain operational and continue communicating with the fire alarm control panel.
