IDP-Monitor-2 Addressable Dual Monitor Module

The Honeywell Farenhyt IDP-Monitor-2 Addressable Dual Monitor Module is an intelligent addressable device designed to provide reliable monitoring of two independent input circuits within a Farenhyt fire alarm system. By combining two monitoring inputs into a single module, it provides an efficient solution for applications where multiple initiating or supervisory devices need to be connected and monitored through the addressable fire alarm network.

The IDP-Monitor-2 can be used with compatible normally open dry-contact devices, including equipment such as waterflow switches, tamper switches, and other fire alarm input devices. Each of the two monitored circuits operates independently, allowing the fire alarm control panel to identify and respond to the condition of each input separately.

The module communicates with the fire alarm control panel through the Signaling Line Circuit (SLC). Its two input circuits are assigned separate consecutive addresses, enabling the system to distinguish between the connected devices and provide more accurate information about the location and type of condition detected. This addressable functionality helps improve centralized monitoring and simplifies system operation, testing, and maintenance.
