Mobile Foam Fire Extinguishers

Nile Shield provides Mobile Foam Fire Extinguishers in 25-liter and 45-liter capacities, designed to provide effective protection in locations requiring larger quantities of extinguishing agent. The extinguishers use AFFF Foam – UL Listed and feature a mobile wheeled design with a long hose and discharge nozzle, allowing easy transportation and efficient delivery of the extinguishing agent directly to the fire area.

Mobile Foam Fire Extinguishers

Mobile Foam Fire Extinguishers are firefighting units designed to provide a larger quantity of extinguishing agent while offering easy mobility and access to the fire area. Nile Shield provides these extinguishers as a suitable solution for locations requiring higher capacities compared to conventional portable foam fire extinguishers.

The extinguishers are available in 25-liter and 45-liter capacities and use AFFF Foam – UL Listed as the extinguishing agent. The availability of different capacities allows the appropriate unit to be selected according to site requirements and the required level of fire protection.

The extinguishers are mounted on a mobile trolley to facilitate transportation and maneuverability during operation. The unit is supported by two main wheels and a front swivel caster, allowing smooth movement within the facility and making it easier to position the extinguisher where required.

Each extinguisher is also equipped with a 5-meter high-pressure resistant hose, ending with a discharge nozzle that allows the foam solution to be released either intermittently or continuously. This provides better control over the discharge process and helps direct the extinguishing agent toward the fire area.

According to the provided specifications, the extinguishers operate using a Cartridge or Stored Pressure system with Nitrogen (N₂). The working pressure is 17.5 bar, the test pressure is 35 bar, and the burst pressure is 70 bar or higher. The units are designed to operate within a temperature range of -20°C to +70°C.

The extinguisher body is available in two material options: Stainless Steel or steel with an external red electrostatically coated polyester finish. These options provide different configurations to suit project requirements and operating conditions.

The valve assembly is manufactured from brass plated with nickel chrome. In the stored-pressure configuration, it is equipped with a pressure gauge for instant pressure indication, along with a safety valve for releasing excess pressure and a pressure check valve, according to the provided product specifications.

The mobile design makes these extinguishers easy to transport throughout the site, while the extended hose provides a wider operating reach without requiring the cylinder itself to be positioned directly next to the fire source.

The provided documentation also states that each unit carries the manufacturer’s information, address, and operating instructions, and is supplied with a two-year warranty against manufacturing defects.

By combining high extinguishing capacity, easy mobility, an extended discharge hose, and AFFF Foam, Nile Shield Mobile Foam Fire Extinguishers provide a practical solution for locations requiring larger-capacity foam firefighting units with convenient transportation and operation.
