P2RK SpectrAlert Advance Outdoor Horn Strobe

The System Sensor P2RK SpectrAlert Advance Outdoor Horn Strobe is a high-performance audible and visual notification appliance designed to provide reliable fire alarm signaling in outdoor and weather-exposed environments. By combining a powerful audible horn with a high-visibility strobe in a single device, the P2RK helps ensure that occupants receive clear notification during fire alarm and emergency conditions.

Designed as part of the SpectrAlert Advance family, the P2RK provides both audible and visual notification while supporting flexible system design. The unit is designed for 2-wire operation, helping simplify installation and integration with compatible fire alarm notification appliance circuits.

The strobe offers multiple selectable candela settings, including 15, 15/75, 30, 75, 95, 110, and 115 candela, allowing installers and system designers to select the appropriate light output according to the requirements of the protected area. The strobe operates at approximately one flash per second, providing a clear visual warning during an alarm condition.

The P2RK supports nominal 12 VDC and 24 VDC/FWR operation, with operating voltage ranges of 8 to 17.5 volts for 12-volt systems and 16 to 33 volts for 24-volt systems. This flexibility allows the device to be incorporated into a wide range of compatible fire alarm notification systems.

Engineered for demanding outdoor conditions, the P2RK is suitable for operation across a wide temperature range from approximately −40°F to 151°F (−40°C to 66°C). When installed with the appropriate compatible weatherproof back box, it provides a dependable solution for outdoor and wet-location applications where standard indoor notification appliances may not be suitable.

The horn and strobe are designed to provide effective emergency notification in commercial, industrial, institutional, and other protected facilities. The horn-strobe configuration is listed to applicable UL 464 requirements for audible signaling appliances and UL 1971 requirements for visual signaling appliances, supporting its use in professionally designed fire alarm systems.
