RPS-1000 Intelligent Power Module

The Honeywell Farenhyt RPS-1000 Intelligent Power Module is designed to expand the power, notification, and system capabilities of compatible Farenhyt fire alarm systems. It provides a flexible solution for applications that require additional power capacity, notification circuits, initiating circuits, or auxiliary power while maintaining integration with the main fire alarm system.

The RPS-1000 features six programmable Flexput circuits, allowing each circuit to be configured according to the requirements of the fire alarm installation. These circuits can be used as Class A or Class B Notification Appliance Circuits (NACs), Class A or Class B initiating circuits, including support for compatible two-wire and four-wire detectors, or as auxiliary power outputs for functions such as resettable power, continuous power, and door-holder applications.

For notification applications, the Flexput circuits provide 24 VDC output with up to 3 amps, while initiating circuit configurations support up to 100 mA. This flexible architecture enables the module to serve multiple functions within the same fire alarm system and helps simplify system expansion without requiring separate equipment for every additional function.

The RPS-1000 also provides an additional SBUS connection with up to 1 amp of available SBUS current, enabling compatible system devices and accessories to be added as the fire alarm installation grows. This makes the module particularly useful in larger installations where additional power and communication capacity are required beyond what is available from the main control panel.

In addition to its power expansion capabilities, the RPS-1000 can support compatible expansion hardware within its enclosure, providing greater flexibility when designing or upgrading a Farenhyt fire alarm system. Its ability to combine additional power, programmable circuits, and SBUS expansion makes it an important component for scalable fire alarm applications.
